I wanted to share a piece of news from the studio 😊

I’m honoured to have received an award at the Ontario Society of Artists OJE 2026 exhibition, “Through Artists’ Eyes.”The award was presented by the OSA Lifetime Members for my ceramic sculpture, Venus Diving.  It means a great deal to be recognized by artists who have been life-time members of this prestigious organization..

At the core of my sculptural practice is an exploration of femininity in its many layers. My work celebrates the female form as a powerful embodiment of strength, resilience, and beauty.Venus Series. is part of my ongoing Venus Diving

As a mother of two daughters, I feel a deep connection to these themes, drawing from my own experiences and observations of the psychological and physical dimensions of womanhood. I’m particularly interested in questioning societal narratives surrounding the female body, and in advocating for self-acceptance, empowerment, and the reclamation of beauty on one’s own terms.

If you would like to see the entire series, you can find the entire series on my  website.

Thank you, as always, for your continued interest and support—it truly makes a difference.
